Introducing Baz Roberts
Baz is 47 and was born in England but raised in Canada where he was educated at 3 universities achieving a BSc and a (first) BEd. He’s married to Eadaoin (pronounced Adine) and lives between the Lake District and Chamonix in the French Alps. They are parents to Sophie and Anna.
He has been self-employed running his own businesses since 1994. Previously he was a Director of Raleigh International (the youth expedition charity) and a Consultant for the GEC (now Marconi) Management College, Dunchurch.

MD of Corporate Interventions Ltd, specialising in leadership & team development consultancy and conference inspirational speaking. He holds the British Psychological Society's Level B qualification in Personality Testing (Firo B, MBTI, CPI).
Commercial Director, Wilderness Medical Training, the UK’s leading provider of expedition medical training for travellers, expeditions and doctors.
Owner/operator/instructor, All Terrain Ski, a niche market instructional ski holiday provider in Chamonix, France
Expedition & Related Achievements
- 22 expeditions to his credit, including mountaineering first ascents in Greenland and Pakistan, science and community projects
- Summited Mt. Everest on the north side in May 2004
- Co-lead recent first winter ascent of highest mountain in the Arctic (Greenland) and made first paraglide descent on 4th March ‘06
- Sponsored Athlete with The North Face between 2004 and 2008
- Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Member of the Alpine Club
- Co-author of Staying Alive Off Piste and contributing author to OUP publication The Oxford Handbook of Expedition & Wilderness Medicine
